Session Description: Why hammocks? Components of hammock sleep system. Setup hammock camp. Environmental considerations and cold weather adaptations. Hands-on practice of system and knots.
Joe Jasper: 33 years in the Canadian Armed Forces as Infantry officer. Extensive instructor and training experience including 4 years teaching leadership at infantry school. Experienced outdoorsman, hiker, and hunter. Leads backcountry canoe expedition annually. Karamat bushcraft course student. Completed Permaculture Design course and integrates into survival strategy.
