History in your Hands - The Black Powder Experience
Try you hand at shooting replica 1700-1800 firearms, in a safe & fun environment.
Voyage back in time to the fur-trade era with Phil Paulson and Stephanie Burtenshaw. Their common passion for experiencing ways of being and interacting with the natural world during the fur trade era is what drew them together. Both Phil and Steph honour the land as first teacher. They currently reside in Anzac, AB and Phil is a member of the Willow Lake Metis Nation. Phil has resided on Treaty 8 for the past four decades and has roots in the Red River Metis Settlement. Stephanie has lived in communities across Canada from Ontario to B.C and has nurtured her connections to the land through bush-crafting skills, which she gratefully shares with her community. From canoeing to hiking, foraging to hunting, to handcrafting; their commitment to living in harmony with Mother Nature is a lifestyle they are proud to share.
